This striking upright flowering stalks of this perennial are a favorite of bees and butterflies, and true to its name, it has a sweet licorice-mint flavor. Agastache foeniculum has good deer resistance. Excellent for tea, garnishing fruits and desserts. Anise Hyssop was used by many Native American tribes as medicine for cough remedies with a slightly energizing and cooling effect.
