Catnip

With grey-green leaves and spikes of white flowers this perennial is famous for inducing euphoria in cats. Good resistance to deer. Excellent for tea. Used as medicine throughout recorded history for soothing fevers and inducing sleep. Its minty flavor is delicious and gentle enough for children.
