Tarragon

'French' Tarragon is an herb in the Edibles line of our One Earth program.

A must-have for the kitchen garden with a distinctive anise flavor, famous as the bright flavor in Tarragon Chicken. Useful seasoning for sauces, eggs, vinegar and salads. A hardy perennial with dark green narrow, fragrant leaves. Dies back in the winter.

Bloom Color This is the true culinary tarragon. Do not confuse it with seed-grown Russion Tarragon, which is a flavorless weed.
