Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Blue'

Lavender
  • Lavender 'Hidcote Blue' is an ornamental herb in the Edibles line of our One Earth program.

The silvery-gray fine foliage of this tall lavender compliments the deep purple flowers, making this the most popular of the English lavenders. Use 'Hidcote Blue' lavender to backdrop lower-growing perennials and annuals in shades of yellows for a complimentary color scheme.

Lavender finds a place in every garden providing that fresh, clear scent that soothes the mind and soul. Be sure to cut the flowering stalks for crafts, potpourri, arrangements, teas and vinegars. It is one of the finest herbs for use in the bath and sachets.
