Beta vulgaris 'Bright Lights'

Swiss Chard
  • 'Bright Lights' Swiss Chard was the 1998 All-America Selections Winner, and is the perfect edible and ornamental chard.
  • Developed by the late amateur breeder John Eaton of New Zealand.

Interesting Notes:

Stems in shades of gold, pink, orange, purple, and red make Swiss Chard 'Bright Lights' a color feature for any garden.
Taste is milder than traditional chards. Bright Lights is suitable for year-round production, though less frost-hardy than traditional chard varieties.
