  • 'Purple Dwarf' Basil is an herb in the One Earth Edibles line.

The perfect purple basil for containers and garden borders. This short bush is edible and ornamental.
Remove the flowers and tip out the ends to keep it nicely shaped. The purple leaves add color and taste to salads and vinegar.

Interesting Notes:

An unusal edge mixed in the flower garden. Can be grown inside for the winter in a pot placed in a southern facing window.
Prefers a sunny spot in moderately rich soil kept slightly moist. Do not over water or over fertilize.
