"This herb doesn't get enough credit. It has a versatile sweet but not overpowering savory flavor that lends itself to so many cuisines. Try it in everything from mexican dishes to pasta/italian food to savory stews. Move over oregano!"

Origanum vulgare 'Compactum'

Marjoram, Compacta
  • Marjoram Compacata is an herb in the One Earth Edibles line.
  • Marjoram Compacta is a tender perennial and grows best in full sun, moist and well-drained soil.

This compact form of sweet marjoram has small oval dark green leaves and pink-violet flowers.
