Growing Practices

We grow all of our plants with great pride in our greenhouses in Bucks County, PA. Our sustainable growing practices combine an innovative biological pest control system with state-of-the-art greenhouse technology. Our herb and vegetable plants are USDA Certified Organic, giving you the peace of mind that comes with independent third-party verification of our growing practices. While we do not certify our ornamental crops, they are all grown to our exacting environmental standards.

We strive to deliver quality plants as scheduled to your satisfaction. We want our plants to make you smile! If your plants arrive damaged or fail to thrive, we will refund the cost of your plant. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your plant if you’re unhappy. Remember, plants can get stressed out like people do while traveling – if your plant looks unhappy when you receive it, give it some TLC so that it can bounce back to full health.

Please note that plant loss due to severe cold or hot weather, from transit, neglect after receipt of the plants, incorrect zone, or animals must be your responsibility. We cannot be held liable for shipping charges or any amount greater than the cost of the plant material.

How Our Plants are Shipped

Most of our plants are shipped in our signature 1QT pot (4.5” diameter x 5” deep) in our Peace Tree Farm retail shipper. Your plants will be carefully packed to ensure their safety during transit. Upon arrival, promptly unbox your plants and remove any packaging or padding. Plants will often need to be watered once you receive them.

We ship our plants on Mondays and Tuesdays of each week (weather dependent) via FedEx. Rates are calculated based on your location.

Local Pickup ONLY

We are unable to ship all of our plants. Those specified for Local Pickup ONLY are currently only available for contactless pick up off of the farm. Pickup times are Friday – 9 AM-3 PM.

Know Your Zone

Different plants thrive in different places. It is important to do your plant and region research to determine if the plant you’ve chosen will thrive in your geographic location or your intended home for the plant. Find your USDA zone.
