Blue Zinger | Intro Year: 2025

Carex flacca, also known as ‘Blue Zinger”, is a dense, upright sedge new for the 2025 Winter Sizzle Program. This clump-forming and slowly creepy sedge is perfect for a splash of blue-green color for winter containers, fall planting, and enjoyed year round. A native of the Mediterranean/North Africa, “Blue Zinger” is a welcome addition to our other carex in our winter sizzle program to add a new depth of habit and displays of unique color.
